Our History

Brookline Contracting, started in 2007 by Mike Flanagan, has grown to a full-service remodel and repair company. Mike started in construction helping his Dad when he was 12 years old. Mike worked as a retail construction superintendent for 10 years after college, building and remodeling stores for Blockbuster Video, Autozone, Borders Books, Toys R Us, Waldenbooks, Master Cuts, Motherhood Maternity among others. Having come to Hilton Head to remodel his parent’s house and having always wanted to work for himself, Mike started Brookline Contracting to help his neighbors maintain their aging homes.
